Rare Cuda Find
"One day I got a call from a buddy about a car a friend of his is hovering over while on his cell phone. He states he's not interested in it since he already has a '72 340 Ralley Challenger and '71 V-code Challenger R/T. Well, I talk with the gentleman at the car and ask him to walk around and read me out the VIN. Well, it starts out BS for 'Cuda and then the 5th digit, V! V as in Victor, as in 440 six pack! Needless to say I went over and saw the car. It was one rust bucket to say the least, but an original 440 six pack car. The body stampings were all there, but the original fender tag was gone. But, from the Mopar-forensics, I could tell the car was an original plum crazy purple car by the floor pans and a Shaker car to boot! It still had the "Carb Air" cable in it. Needless to say I bought the car. I eventually sold it and bought a '70 six pack Charger R/T which I later traded for my current '69 Charger 500 to compliment my '69 Daytona."
Pennsylvania Pontiac GTO
"Here's a '68 Pontiac GTO found in Altoona, PA. Last time it was on the road was in 1978. There's no motor or trans, but it was a 400 4-speed car. It's rusted bad in the rear, and the hood is laying in the weeds beside it with the scoops and the tach!"

It's a Ford
"This '53 Ford is parked behind an old shop in Massachusetts, been in the same spot since the late 70's. Very original and complete, but time has taken its toll. Property was a tractor dealer and small engine repair shop for many years, so there's all kinds of cool old stuff scattered around. There's another '53 Ford inside along with tons of small engine stuff, and there's a couple of Panzer tractors out back. The owner lives next door."
