Camaro Barn Find
"Found this car in the back of a barn in Clombus, NJ. Stopped by the house a few times after seeing the car, but never got an answer at the door. Finally I threw a note card with my number on it in the guy's mail box. To my surprise, I got a phone call back 2 weeks later and the owner wanted to sell the car. The car is a 68 Camaro RS, 327, Tic-toc-tach, fold down seat, 12 bolt, multi-leaf, deluxe interior. Got it for a good price, there are still deals out there. I've been passing by this barn for 18 years, and never saw the car because it was behind a tractor."

"I've always wanted a '69 Corvette, and recently decided to start looking for one. I nearly bought one when I was in my 20's and working in law enforcement, but I missed the opportunity and always pined over thoughts of that car. I went on Craigslist in Boston and did a search for 'Corvette' and found this '69 Corvette Stingray being sold for parts. I emailed the guy and asked for a number, but he sent an address and stated that his sister was selling the car. I called my father and we both headed to the address provided. When we got there, we found a '69 Corvette 350 ci, 350 hp, 4-speed car with its original 4:11 posi rear end and only 50K original miles! It had some body damage, but worth saving. I bought the car and I've already found a rear clip for parts. It is now safely stored indoors where it'll stay until I get it finished. The original motor is long gone, but I do have a correctly dated motor that I built and ran in an IROC many years ago. We believe the car is worth every penny of the $700 we paid! The owner had died and his wife wanted to see it go to someone who would restore it. She had turned down higher offers, so maybe fate stepped in for me that day."

Fairlane Fastback in a Field
"Hey, I love your site, and I look at it almost everyday! I found this '68 Fairlane Fastback sitting on a farmer's field way off the main road. It's a black fastback and appears to be an automatic with a 302 V8. The car is complete with no rust, but it has some minor dents. It's in lower Michigan in a rural country area."
