A Lost BOSS
"I was out for a drive the other morning and ran across what appears to be a '70 BOSS 302 sitting in the weeds. Car sits well off the road and is very difficult to see, you have to look at precisely the right angle and time to see it. I've been driving by this place for years and never saw it until now! Pic was taken with a lot of camera zoom."
Canadian '69 Charger
"Hi folks and Steve, I was on an afternoon road trip about 12 or 13 years ago, when on my way home I spotted this 1969 Charger parked out by the side of someone's house out in the country some distance from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I've since returned 2 or 3 more times to see what has become of the poor neglected car. Well it used to be parked out in front, visible from the main road but is now parked out in the back of the owner's property by the unfinished shed. The car is no longer seen from the front main road but is in clear sight from a less travelled back road and that's from where I snapped these shots. Looks like the car and the shed will never be completed!!! If that's the case then what a shame and a waste!!! Thanks and I love your site."

'52 Chieftan, Lost, Saved and Lost Again
"Attached are some pictures of a 1952 Pontiac Chieftain coupe with a straight 8 engine and hydra-matic transmission. Back in 2003, I was in a shop class in my high school. This car sat in a dark area of the shop, covered in old car parts and years of dust. I asked my shop teacher what the story was, and all he knew was that some lady brought it in about 5 years prior hoping to get it running again. Apparently, it was her father's car that she inherited when he died. The car sat outside his barn for an unknown amount of time, but word of mouth is 10 or 15 years. My teacher was unable to contact the woman from the time she dropped it off on, so my friend Freddy and I took it upon ourselves to get it running. We replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, battery, changed the oil and transmission fluid. Two cranks and the car fired right up and ran great, even with the old gas in it. We shuffled the car around the shop a lot, took it out to drive through the parking lot from time to time... but one day, out of the blue, the woman called the shop and asked for her car back. She paid her bill and we never saw it again. Who knows where the car is now... most likely it's returned to rotting away in a field behind her home. "
