AMC Hurst SC Rambler!
"I found this '69 AMC Hurst SC/Rambler sitting next to a garage outside of Kempton, PA. There was also a Javelin partially hidden under a tarp a few feet in front of the Rambler. At first I thought it was simply a painted up American but it has the correct scoop, stripes and wheels on the front so I think it's legit, though the fender emblems are missing. It didn't look like the kind of place I'd get a friendly reception so no further details. It looks reasonably solid from the road but also appears to have been ignored for several years. Ironically, the garage looked to be full of junk while the two AMC's sit outside."

GSX Getting Rusty
"I have watched this old car for the last 15 years, and it just gets worse. The owner let me take pics, but that was it! He won't even entertain any offers. It's the first one I've seen with all the original hardware."
"Steve, here's my second entry to your awesome but sad website. The short story: 15 years ago I passed a yard and stopped; looked and way in the back found what I thought was a 73 Super Duty Trans Am, and quite restorable at the time. Years passed and this summer I found the yard after searching diligently. I went to the spot where the car was, and it is still there, but not much of it is left. The only good part on it is the front nose. The car is severely rusted and only the top of the car is there. It literally rusted into the ground. Floors are gone, and the trunk floor is not even there. It is a factory 1973 Formula 400 4-speed with dual exhaust and it still has its Bucaneer Red paint. I couldn’t even see the car until I was right up to it because of the overgrowth of the woods. 15 years ago it was visible from 30 yards away. The 73 sits alongside its brothers...a few other late 70's T/A's and Camaro's. Makes me want to vomit."
