Super Bee Repo
"This red Superbee was a repo in the early 80's, and was driven to this spot and then parted out. It was a '69, N-96, 383/4-speed car. On the same property is a '70 Roadrunner and a '71 GTX 440/auto car."
"So I finally got it, after about 3 years of pestering my father he finally let me have a chance at it. It is a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a 351 Cleveland Engine 2 barrel carb. It was last registered in ‘88. My father drove some buddies home and when he went to leave the car would only go in reverse. So he drove it home 5 blocks in reverse. I finally talked him into giving me the car. Over all it’s in great shape but will take time and money. I plan on starting to fix it within a month."
From Seth in Illinois
"This 390/4-speed Javelin was purchased brand new by my uncle and then sold to my dad in 1987. Dad sold it back to my uncle in 1990, the motor was out for paint and gaskets. Shortly after, my uncle was diagnosed with cancer and the car was put on hold. The original engine was mistaken as scrap and left out behind a shop for 22 years. I rescued the engine in 2013 and then the car in 2014."
