"Here are some pictures of my sister's '68 Cougar, residing peacefully next to an empty house in Michigan. My sister and her husband brought it back from Texas in 1987. Thankfully it was never driven through Michigan winters, where the salt would have eaten the metal up in no time. Unfortunately though, they took the car off the road just a few years later when it needed work on the brakes and steering. My brother-in-law was going to fix it up, he even acquired a parts car years later...you can see how far that got. The Cougar has now been sitting in the same spot for nearly 20 years. It needs a lot of work, but the metal is still in surprisingly good shape. Perhaps some of that is because there is a gravel driveway beneath the weeds and leaves that helps drain the water away. The engine ran great when it was parked."

"I found and saved this 1960 Impala Sport Coupe 2-door. It has a 283 4-bbl and power glide transmission. Notice the tree still lodged in the grille even after I took it home and gave it a bath."
"I recently stumbled upon a 1953 Packard Cavalier in my travels. The car is in extremely good shape stuck in between a bread truck and log skidder in an industrial storage lot. I was told the car belongs to the owner of the car dealership next door and it's NOT FOR SALE. Snapped a few pictures and carried on my way. Car was located in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario."
