Z28 Camaro Uncaged
"I purchased this car from a guy in Golden, Colorado in the spring of 1981. The front suspension had been removed but the guy had most of the parts which he so kindly stuffed into a box and placed in the trunk. I put the suspension back together and actually drove the car for about a year before having some issues with it. I then parked it and haven’t messed with it in over 25 years. The plan is to get the mechanicals in good working order and drive it as a rat-muscle car for the time being. It has the houndstooth interior which is nearly perfect except for the driver’s seat which is trashed and filthy. My theory is an owner before me raced the car. He would wrench on it and race it. He obviously was a dirty, greasy guy. It does not appear as though the back seat has ever been sat in and there was rarely a passenger in this thing either. As you can see, I installed MSD ignition because I had problems with the original points distributer. I didn’t really know what I had back in the day and threw away the original distributer. The body is fairly solid with very little rust. I think the engine is the original 302 but I don’t know because somebody decked the block back in the day and the numbers are gone. The car still has its factory original butternut yellow paint on it with the black rally stripes which are badly checked."
Buick GS Garage
"Here's a pic of a Buick GS 350 that was discovered in a garage in California. Story was the gentleman was a local pharmacist and ordered the car new. He drove it until the late 80's, and when he passed his widow parked it in their garage. It never came out until 6 months ago when she died and her children from out of state hired an auction company to sell the home and it's contents. They didn't know about the car until the garage door was raised! I bought it, had it shipped to Ohio and sold it to a buddy. Without a doubt, the cleanest body car I've ever owned."
