Crashed Cuda To Go
"True story. Back in 1999 I worked in a parts store and a young guy brought in a picture of a totaled 1970 Barracuda (pictured here) with a 1973 'cuda 340 4speed with no front clip in a field. In 2001 I took pictures of a corvette for a friend of mine to sell and there was the '70 Barracuda beside the Corvette. You can see the Corvette in the pics. It was a friend's brother's car and he said he would sell it. Well he didn't want a deposit and backed out two weeks later. 2006 I called the owner and asked if he would let me buy the car. He said he would. This took another month to finalize the sale. Now it was buried up to the roof in snow next to an abandon trailer. I hired a bobcat to dig it out and as you can see it is now restored. I left the entire drivetrain in the car and only had to do some minor work to the engine. I did this to prove it could still be driven the way it sat. This was a 6 cyl car originally but someone had converted the car to a complete 1969 340 drivetrain. Some stories have a happy ending.
P.S. The 1973 'cuda was sold to an acquaintance of mine. (He had a choice between the two and took the '73. It is now also fully restored."
GTO Convertible Catch
"We bought this car from a friend, it had not been driven in over 4 years. Pushed it out of the barn, down the hill and popped the clutch and she fired right up. It's my wife’s favorite of all of the cars. It is a 1966 Pontiac Convertible the original interior is in good shape, motor runs, but the paint and body need a little work. We are the 2nd owners!"
Mustang in the Woods
"I found this today in Schumokin, PA. I do plan to track down the owner this weekend. I think I can save her!"
