Challenger SE Sinking
"I happened to see this '70 Challenger SE rotting away in the front yard of a home nearby. It's clearly in very rough shape and hasn't moved for many years. The car is literally sinking into the ground and probably has even worse rust problems underneath. I finally had a chance to talk to the homeowner, and he purchased the car new in 1970! It was his first new car, and he kept it when it stopped running 20 years ago. I asked if he would consider selling it, and he said that he was planning to keep it and restore it someday."
'Mine 79' Trans Am
"Steve, here is a story with a happy ending. I have been trying to buy this all original '79 TA for over ten years. It's located in my hometown, and the owner has never wanted to sell. Finally, he called me and realized that he wouldn't get around to 'fixing it up someday' and graciously gave me first dibs. I got it for a good price, and this one will get back on the road someday. It took ten years, but it was worth it! Keep looking, there are cars out there!"

Mustang Coupe Scoop
"Hey Steve, love the site! Keep up the great work. I am attaching some photos of a 1970 Mustang Coupe I saw recently. It is sitting in the back of an old body shop. Not much to look at. No engine, and areas of bad rust. There are some nice parts on it though. I did not see anyone in the area to ask about the history of the car, but right up the road from this Mustang was a '73 mach 1 that appeared to have been there for a while. Still fun to see them around. Thanks!"
