"I've been watching this one for a while, and I finally stopped to take a look. It's been sitting behind a house for a long time, and it was last registered in '76. It's a 318 car with bucket seats. I sensed that there was an emotional attachment to the car when I asked if it was for sale. I'll keep trying."

Cost Too Much Camaro
"I was driving to a military base in Virginia for a school, and this Camaro caught my eye on the side of the road. I was in Virginia for 2 weeks and called the owner about the car at the number on the faded for sale sign. It had a 350/350 combo in it, and the guy wanted way too much money for it. He told me he will restore it if it doesn't sell which we all know is the same old story. Especially since he told me it's been sitting in that same spot for 10 years and for sale for 2 years. The car doesn't run. He said the engine and transmission were rebuilt 12 years ago. But it sat there with no carb on the motor, and is probably locked up. For 2 weeks I tried every other day to convince him to my offer, but no luck. After that, I had to leave for my base back in North Carolina."
High Price Low Mile Grand National
"I found out about this low-mileage '87 Buick Grand National, and tracked it down. It's a one-owner car that sat outside for a lot of years. The owner thinks it's worth a ton of money because it's 'all original' even though it's a mess and would cost thousands just to make it a decent driver. At least it's stored inside now."
