Second Owner Super Bee
"Check out these pics of my brother-in-law's 1968 Super Bee. He bought it from his uncle who bought it new in '68. It's still original, and in decent shape. But the body has some rust. Of course, he says he's going to restore it someday."
Pole Barn Pontiac
"I came across this GTO while doing some work for an elderly gentleman in Michigan. He said that it was his grandson's car and he parked it in the barn when he went off to college in 1990. The car was in great shape, no rust, interior was great, just the tires were all flat. I pumped up the tires and they all held air, and took some pictures. I asked him if he knew if his grandson would be willing to part with it. He gave me his son's number, who in turn got me in contact with the grandson. I called the grandson and he gave me some information on the car. It is a matching numbers car, and he is the second owner of it. He bought the car in 1986 from the original owner and said that he would never sell the car, but has no place to store it, so it just stays in the old pole barn. This was 2008 when I talked to him. I do know now that the grandson has moved the car and now I see it driving around the area all the time. It looks and sounds great, I am glad he didn't just let it rot away."
"I talked to the owner about this Barracuda almost 9 years ago. He was going to start a complete restoration on it 'very soon'. I was back in the area last week, and stopped by and it looks the same. The car appears to be in pretty solid condition. Nobody was home on this trip, so I'll try again later."
