Non Hazzard Charger
"Hi Steve, here are some pics of a 1969 Charger that a buddy just acquired. A co-worker's relative had passed, and the family was selling off his belongings including the car. Sitting since 1994, one that didn't get sacrificed for the Dukes of Hazzard movie!"
Trailer Park Firebird
"I was buying a TH350 from this guy in a trailer park 40 minutes away from me, and as we were talking, he mentioned that there was a Firebird in the field behind his trailer that's been there as long as he's lived there. A week later I went back to look at it to find a '69 Firebird coupe with 4 speed, deluxe interior, power windows, A/C, radio, gauges, a fold down rear seat, and a hole cut in the hood for a factory hood tach. Oddly enough though, it's not a 400 car, or at least it's missing the grille arrowhead and trim, and has a regular flat hood. It's license plate expired in 1981 and the rear bumper has a Valencia College sticker on it from '73. I'm currently in the middle of finding if the owner is still alive and his location so I can save the car as soon as possible."
"Traveling north towards Waco I spotted a hockey stripe on a car in a shed. I could not stop then, but 3 weeks later I was there again with full intention of stopping. I found a 1969 RS/SS Camaro 396. There was a for sale or trade sign on the fence for the property. I called the number and it was the owner. He immediately told me it was not for sale. I asked again - he said the same thing but I have his number and will not give up."
