"These pics were taken over a period of 3 years, I call them Mustang Rescue. I hope that the pics and story will inspire someone out there to never give up on saving any of these great rides. These cars need to be saved, and they are cool history! When I first found this Mustang, of course it wasn't for sale. The owner kept saying he was going to restore it. So, I kept in touch over the years, and built a friendship with the old man while I continued talking about wanting to buy the car. Eventually on my seventh visit, he sold me the Mustang. Now it's in a home where it'll be saved from rotting in a field!"

Dad's Old Chrysler
"This is the story of my Dad's old '68 Chrysler 300 Convertible. He bought it when it was only a few months old and drove it until 1983. Then we moved from Illinois to Arizona and left the car with a cousin who let it sit outside in his yard until 1995 when it was moved to a storage lot. Years passed and Dad forgot about the old car and soon the storage bill was past due. Dad told my brother and I that if we paid the storage bill, he would have the car transported to us in Arizona. We paid the bill, but the car was never moved. Dad passed away a couple years ago, and we assumed the car was long gone. Then a friend encouraged me to do some digging. I made some calls and found out that the car was still there! I met my friend at the address, and was shocked to see what had happened to the car. I knew it was going to be rusty, but it was almost gone! The top was caved in and there was a lot of damage to the car from being moved around the storage lot. I was angry to see how my Dad's car had been treated. I was so furious, we didn't even try to get the car out. It seemed to be too far gone. But I keep thinking about going back and extracting the car someday."

Delorean Time Capsule
"I found this in a basement with a few other cars, it had been sitting there since 1986. It only has 1911 original miles..and the kicker...A 351 CLEVELAND! The guy said a shop in Chicago installed it when it was new. Basiclly a Pantera in Delorean clothing. The 80 year old man said the racing clutch in it was too stiff for him to shift it so it just sat all these years."
